Kosta Boda Art Gallery consists of an art gallery, designed by Bruno Mathsson in the early 50s. Bruno Mathssonhallen has a glass mosaic floor, made in Kosta, and floor-to-ceiling windows. At the far end hides a wall painting by Vicke Lindstrand. The old Brukskontoret was converted into a gallery in 2014. In the Glass Bar, designed by Lena Bergström, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold drink in peace and quiet.
One of the many unique items that can only be bought in Kosta is the Kosta pot. The pot is made of 100% recycled glass from Kosta Glasbruk and has an inlaid stamp.

Kjell Engman comes from a family of musicians and has himself a background as a professional rock musician, mainly guitarist. This musical heritage is reflected in his glass art, not only through his familiar glass instruments, but in the musical, dancing feeling and joie de vivre that many of his objects and figures exude.
As a glass artist, Engman has always been a storyteller. His passion is to build fantasy worlds with glass and other elements - set designs, lighting and other effects, such as scent and of course music, soundtracks.
The glass art that Kjell Engman creates is characterized by strong colors, generous playful forms and the ever-present imagination and humor. In addition to music and instruments, his glass art is populated by animals, nature and symbols from everyday life as well as the super- and subconscious. Life-affirming, teeming joyfulness can be said to run like a thread through his diverse expressions as a glass artist.
The narrative of Reflections is based on three different stories and includes both new artworks and classics from Engman's almost 50-year career.
The artist Hanna Hansdotter and the ceramicist & general artist Kakan Hermansson grew up a few hundred meters from each other in Lund, something they only became aware of as adults. They met at Konstfack in Stockholm where Kakan taught Hanna in a ceramics course and have kept in touch ever since.
Kakan is a ceramicist while Hanna is one of Sweden's most celebrated glass artists. The idea was soon born to let their creative conversations take physical form in a series of art glass.
The result is a collection of “very impractical”, sculptural vases and vessels, created in collaboration with the master blowers at Kosta Glasbruk. The works offer lavishly rich, exuberant spectra of color, marbling and pattern with playful references to the history of glass.
A small, often beautiful receipt that ensures communication to all addresses throughout Sweden and further out into the world. PostNord Sweden has been issuing stamps since 1855, designs that are characterized by current themes and a ''good design in time''.
The stamp starts in PostNord's Stamp Council, where possible themes are discussed. Suggestions from the public show what Swedes want to see as motifs. One such suggestion was “glass bottles for perfume”, which the Council developed into the theme of Glass Art. But how do you tell the story of an art form that has been around for over 100 years, with only a few motifs? In collaboration with designer
Daniel Bjugård, the theme was defined as a selection of works from the last 20 years.
The fact that the works would be art glass was an aesthetic choice, to create a stamp issue with a lot of color and shape. Artists and works were carefully chosen based on the expression of each work and how the works interact together.
