Try Your Hand at Glassblowing
At Kosta Glassworks, you can book a time slot to make your own glass under the guidance of our skilled instructors. We offer the opportunity to blow various types of glass. From July 6 to August 2, we will have an additional glass furnace open at Kosta Glassworks.
Information
The following options are available:
- Standing glass ball as a table decoration 600 SEK/each
- Drinking glass, whiskey glass 650 SEK/each
- Beer glass 650 SEK/each
- Bowl or vase 850 SEK/each
- Water or wine carafe 850 SEK/each
A glassblowing trial session takes about 15 minutes per person.
ONE person may blow glass per booked time slot!Please arrive well in advance so you have time to prepare.
The trial session includes an admission ticket to Kosta Glassworks
Entrance to Kosta Glassworks is via the Kosta Boda Glass Shop
The blown glass has a cooling time of 4 hours.
If you blow glass in the morning, the piece will be ready to take home in the afternoon.
If you blow glass in the afternoon, the piece will be ready the following day. You can have the piece shipped to your home!
As a parent or guardian, you are responsible for your child while on the glassworks premises.
