Try glassblowing
Would you like to blow your own personal object in glass? Now is your chance to do so with the experience that lets you blow glass all by yourself! Think how much fun it would be to make your own drinking glasses or wine glasses that you can then use or have as a display and show to friends and family!
At Kosta Glasbruk you can experience glass in different forms, feel it, get answers to questions, stories and explanations about the glass. We offer the possibility of blowing different kinds of glass.
The following are available to choose from:
- Glass ball standing as a table decoration SEK 500/pc
- Drinking glasses, whiskey glasses SEK 550/pc
- Beer glass SEK 550/pc
- Bowl or vase SEK 750/pc
- Water or wine carafe SEK 850/pc
A glassblowing trial session takes about 15 minutes per person. Please arrive well in advance so you have time to prepare.
One person may blow glass per booked time slot!
From 6 years of age. As a guardian/legal representative, you are responsible for your child on the premises of Glasbruket!
Of course, you are welcome to watch the glass blowing demonstration!
Booking
Glassblowing on Monday through Thursday can only be booked the day before, but drop-ins are welcome—just ask our staff!
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, you can book on the same day.
The glass cabin is open to visitors every day of the week.

Collection of blown products
Pickup of your blown products takes place between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Please note that it takes 4 hours to cool your blown glass before it is ready for pickup.
Price for home delivery of your blown products within Sweden and the EU
Up to 5 kg - SEK 100
From 5 to 10 kg - SEK 150
Please note that all exports outside the EU are subject to a price list per country.
For the United States, new customs charges of approximately $600 per package will be added.
