Fishing in Kosta
Kosta is Småland's new fishing destination. At the lakes there are shelters from the wind and barbecue areas - take the opportunity to do an outdoor activity with the whole family. Fish, grill the fish in foil and make a wonderful experience of the day. Book your boat well in advance so you don't miss out!
Here in Kosta, there are several fish-rich lakes to choose from. In the lakes Vitgöl, Djupgöl, Björkgöl and in the ponds at Kosta Lodge there are lots of rainbow trout. Here you can fish both with fly fishing and also with optional fishing gear.
In the lakes Stampen and Läen you will find pike, zander and perch.
Fishing licenses can be bought at Kosta Lodge and there are also fishing gear, life jackets and boats to rent for a full day's fishing.

Fly fishing in Vitgöl
- Average weight of the fish is 2-2.5 kg in spring and 2.5-3 kg in autumn. All depending on the weather and wind.
- Fish up to 6 kg can be found in the lake.
- Fishing SEK 550, which includes two fish, as well as a fishing license in Djupgöl.
Fishing in Djupgöl
- Fish from 0.7-4.5 kg
- Fishing SEK 350 from shore, one fish included.
- Boat max 2 fishermen SEK 950, two fish included.
- Boat max 2 fishermen SEK 1,400 four fish included.
- Boat rental 1 day SEK 500
- Family card (children 3-12 years old) four people, fishing from land SEK 1,000, four fish included.
Children's fishing in the ponds (3-12 years)
- Fishing with any hand tackle SEK 150 including one fish.
- Life jacket included.
- Adult SEK 200.

Fishing rules for Stampen and Läen
We want to promote long-term, sustainable fishing and therefore have the following rules:
- Max one pike per day.
- All fish over 65 cm are released again.
