Musica Vitae - Music of Life
Based in Växjö, the chamber orchestra Musica Vitae has developed over more than four decades into one of the country's leading string ensembles. Domestic and international soloists and conductors regularly visit us, but in true chamber music spirit we are often also led by playing leaders. Whether we play on our home stage in Växjö, in large concert halls or in churches, parish halls, converted cinemas or locomotive sheds, it is the chamber music meetings with our audience that are most important. The meeting between us who are sitting on the stage, and you who are sitting in the hall, is what brings the music to life for all of us.
